PokerMeet

Practical notes about rollout, trust posture, and better private-game coordination.

PokerMeet is building a safer way to coordinate private home poker nights. We launch county by county so we can keep quality high, enforce safety standards, and make sure hosts and players grow together.

Why we roll out county by county

A new region only works when there are enough reliable players and a few capable hosts to create consistent games. Launching too early leads to empty listings, no-shows, and poor experiences.

What "unlocking" means

Each county moves through phases:

  • Waitlist - join the list and raise your hand to host.
  • Opening - we onboard early hosts and players and prepare discovery.
  • Open - discovery is available for verified users and approved games.

The fastest way to unlock your county

Players

  • Join the waitlist.
  • Invite reliable friends who will actually show up.
  • Be ready to verify when prompted (verification increases trust).

Hosts

  • Join the waitlist and select that you're interested in hosting.
  • Be clear about your cadence (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).
  • Set expectations so players know the vibe and the rules.

Our baseline safety commitments

  • Hosts approve every seat.
  • Addresses stay hidden until approval and near start time.
  • We never handle money, rake, or seat selling.

If you want your county to open sooner, share your county's region page with the right people.

Next step: Join the waitlist, then share your region link.
